Use the site, vent responsibly, and know exactly what a paid placement does—and does not—buy.
1. The service
sucks.world provides an anonymous public rant archive, reactions, discovery tools and a separate weekly paid promotion board. We may change, pause or discontinue features when needed.
2. Prohibited content
Do not submit personal or confidential information, doxxing, threats, violence, hate, harassment, sexual or adult content, illegal content or instructions, impersonation, malware or unsafe links, deceptive promotions, scams, spam or coordinated manipulation. You must have the right to publish every post, link and promotional claim you submit.
3. Automated screening and weekly ranking
The takeover price resets Monday at 00:00 UTC to $5, and each verified payment during that weekly cycle raises the next price by $1, with no maximum. The active board does not go blank: if a new week has no eligible paid listing, the latest valid board remains live on the board and map. The first eligible payment in a new week starts that week’s board and takes #1. Paid listings are screened before checkout and checked again after payment; no administrator pre-approval is required. Paid placement never bypasses these Terms or our Rules.
4. What payment buys
Payment buys a clearly labelled promotional placement for the paid cycle in which it is confirmed. The active board may continue beyond that cycle while no eligible new payment replaces it, but placement is not permanent and ends when a new board starts or when content is hidden or removed. Payment never buys Smash reactions, organic ranking, endorsement, clicks, traffic or sales. Organic rants and Today’s top rants remain separate.
5. Billing and refunds
Dodo Payments acts as Merchant of Record and handles checkout, tax, receipts, refunds and payment disputes. A listing rejected by automated screening before any paid exposure is eligible for a refund through Dodo Payments. After automatic clearance and paid display, purchases are generally final except for duplicate charges, a verified technical failure, or where law or Dodo Payments requires otherwise. Being overtaken, receiving less traffic than expected, or removal after a rules violation is not normally a refund reason. Contact us within 7 days with the checkout email and transaction reference.
6. Moderation and enforcement
Automated screening controls initial publication. Administrators can still reject, hide, restore, remove from the paid board or permanently delete violations after publication. Moderation actions are recorded. Reports enter a human review queue and do not automatically delete content; this queue is for post-publication enforcement, not paid pre-approval. No system catches every violation immediately.
7. No guarantees
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, sucks.world does not promise uninterrupted access or any commercial result and is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss. Rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.
