Privacy Policy

No account is required. We collect the minimum data needed to publish rants, prevent abuse, show aggregate mood and run paid placements.
1. What we collect
We collect the rant text, selected category and city, optional product URL or handle, timestamps, Smash and report activity, language preference, and information you send when contacting us. Location may be suggested from coarse IP geolocation, but you can replace it before posting.
2. Technical and security data
Our hosting and security providers may process IP address, user agent, request time, referring page, approximate country or city, error logs and anti-abuse signals. We use this to deliver the site, rate-limit abuse, investigate reports and keep the service reliable.
3. Payments through Dodo Payments
For paid placements, Dodo Payments acts as Merchant of Record. Dodo may collect your name, email, billing address, payment method identifiers, amount, date, tax and fraud-prevention data. sucks.world does not receive your full card number. We receive transaction status and the details needed to provide and support the placement.
4. Analytics and local storage
We use Cloudflare infrastructure logs and aggregate operational statistics to understand traffic and reliability. We do not currently use third-party behavioural advertising. Your browser stores language choice and limited interaction state so the site works without an account.
5. How long data stays
Public rants remain in the archive until removed by us or following a valid request. Payment and tax records are retained by Dodo Payments as required by law. Security, moderation and support records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for those purposes, legal obligations or disputes.
6. Sharing and international processing
Data may be processed by Cloudflare for hosting and security, Dodo Payments for checkout, and service providers that help us operate the site. We do not sell personal information. Providers may process data in other countries under their own safeguards and applicable law.
7. Your choices
You may choose “Somewhere” or another city, omit the optional URL, and use the site without an account. To request access, correction or deletion where applicable, email us with enough information to identify the post or transaction. We may retain limited records when legally required or necessary to prevent abuse.
